Omar is a really nice guy and a good mechanic too! He speaks excellent English and even makes house calls - a necessity when that darn battery decides to die right in your driveway. His shop has all the cool computer diagnostic machines so he can work on the Mercedes as well as the Jeep. Mechanic – Omar Lobato

Banking in Cabo San Lucas |

Banking in Cabo is similar to banking anywhere, it can be relatively simple if you get set up properly from the start. Internet access is available with most banks so I suggest you select one which provides this service. This removes the necessity for line-ups which can be quite time-consuming especially on Mondays and paydays. You can open chequing and savings accounts in both peso and US currencies; there might be a minimum deposit requirement and also a monthly fee but nothing too costly. To open an account, you will need your passport and an electric or telephone bill showing your Cabo address. As a homeowner, you likely will have a FM-3 immigration document which also will be accepted. I recommend Bancomer (I have included the link to the Preferred Customers Unit) or Scotiabank/Inverlat.
