Banking in Cabo is similar to banking anywhere, it can be relatively simple if you get set up properly from the start. Internet access is available with most banks so I suggest you select one which provides this service. This removes the necessity for line-ups which can be quite time-consuming especially on Mondays and paydays. You can open chequing and savings accounts in both peso and US currencies; there might be a minimum deposit requirement and also a monthly fee but nothing too costly. To open an account, you will need your passport and an electric or telephone bill showing your Cabo address. As a homeowner, you likely will have a FM-3 immigration document which also will be accepted. I recommend Bancomer (I have included the link to the Preferred Customers Unit) or Scotiabank/Inverlat.
